What package/vendor works best for creating barcodes in Crystal reports and using GP report viewer. I want to add them to our Sales orders and Invoices currently and more reports later.

A year later and I'm finally getting to the barcodes. Everything worked fine as long as the data was alphanumeric but when I tried a number it failed. If I put the data field in quotes I got the datafield name. If I left the quotes off I got an error message. I have contacted the barcode vendor but haven't heard back as of yet. Any ideas on why it won't handle numbers? I'm using 128 code but I think it has more to do with the formula. I know the fonts are not your product but any help would be great.

Pat P I found a way. I don't know if it's the best way but I'm using cstr({WO010032.ENDQTY_I},0) and it seems to be working.

I have got it working in Crystal but I'm having trouble with getting it to correctly work in viewer. I am trying to use the "extra Menu item" function from the manufacturing order entry screen. I have a parameter that seems to fail but even when I get data to show on the screen the barcodes are not correct (they show as text). When the parameter works I can't pull in data, but if I leave it off I get many data sets but no good barcodes. Any help for the helpless?

Victoria Yudin Just a little update - Patrick and I got the report shortcut set up in GP Reports Viewer, but he is still working on the Crystal Report, so we will regroup when he is ready with that. :-)
