Copy Reports to Multiple Companies

For multiple companies, we have to configure the reports separately for each company. While this feature is helpful if each company has a different set of reports however it takes lot of effort to replicate the same setups in each of the companies. While I found an easy way to initially copy the same through SQL any future changes would be difficult to replicate.

It'd be nice to have an option for global set up for all companies while retaining the option to create separate reports for each company. Something like Copy user security in GP, A copy function that can copy, Reports, Parameters, Shortcuts and Lookups would be great.

Hi Janakiram,

Thank you very much for this product suggestion. In the next build of GP Reports Viewer we plan to make available some new copy features, like copying all the permissions from one report to another and from one user to another, however, they will all be within the same company. We will add copying between companies to our list of future enhancements to consider.

In the meantime, we do have a SQL script to copy all settings from one company to another, please let me know if you would like a copy of this.
